Knowledge Translation
Priority Area Leader:
Dr. Ian Graham
In order to achieve our vision of improved health for all Canadians, the knowledge about vascular health generated by the Vascular Network will need to be used by individuals and organizations to drive changes in practice, health systems, and policy. To achieve this, the Vascular Network will make a concerted effort to engage knowledge-users throughout its operations to ensure their needs are reflected in the Network’s projects and programs.
The knowledge translation efforts of the Vascular Network will focus on three key activities:
- Knowledge translation of Vascular Network research results
- Knowledge translation impacting health policies (including wider dissemination of existing practice guidelines to improve vascular health)
- Developing platforms to enable knowledge translation and exchange within the vascular community
